Abstract

He process of democratization cannot be separated from the political system and has consequences for the dynamics of political life. Not only the dynamics of political life, but also the dynamics of the others. The latest trend is that political concepts and practices have been using digital technology a lot, all functions and objectives are commodified to reach a wider public, political and economic benefits. One of the uses is social media (as new media) which is widely known and used by the public. By tracing various sources of writing on the theme of political communication, ranging from online media content (internet) and other social media content with qualitative - descriptive analysis techniques. This writing aims to look at the content of internet media applications through the perspective of political economy of communication that emphasizes social relations, especially power relations that are mutually beneficial, starting from the sources of production, distribution and consumption, including sources of communication.This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Suggestions, giving an impact or effect starting from forming opinions into perceptions that influence emotional actions. People whose emotions are less stable will be more easily carried or follow the group compared to people whose emotions are stable.
