A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM) IMPLEMENTATION IN ORGANIZATION

Abstract

Until now, Total Quality Management is still a preeminent concern in all fields, both in the education, business, and manufacturing sectors. The study results confirm previous studies that show that the use of TQM in the business sector has a significant influence on business progress but is also useful in smaller industries. In conducting the analysis using qualitative methods, combining the results shows that TQM is used to increase performance, service delivery and improve the product or system quality in an organization's processes and business process communication. In this case for literature riview, places the results of a variety of different studies. The study includes the number of distribution, country, year of publication or publication, and all business types from the industrial/manufacturing and education sectors. This paper discusses the literature published regarding Total Quality Management from 1998 to 2020. This paper involves a study of 50 articles related to the implementation of Total Quality Management database searches known, including Science Direct, Emerald Insight, and Google Scholars. The benefit for future researchers is to provide literature for further research.
